Delivery / Pickup Policies and Procedures


Pick Up:

Once items have been purchased "PAID IN FULL" they can be picked up at your convenience. For a pickup you will need a copy of your receipt / invoice , and a scheduled pickup time. Delivery is available, see below. Items can be available in as little as 24 hours or up to 4 weeks depending on availability (barring any back-order issues). If you decide to pick up your items on a day other than the day in which you made your purchase, you must call and schedule pickup time. In addition, you must provide your own tie down straps or ropes, provide blankets or padding needed to protect items such as "FLOOR MODELS" not contained in original manufacturer's packaging from tranport damages. Lastly you, "BUYER", are responsible to fully inspect goods at pickup time for any defects or damages.  Once the buyer and items leave our warehouse then you, "BUYER", are responsible for safe transport and final condition of goods.

Delivery:

Delivery is not included in the price of Merchandise unless explicitly stated. One of the reasons Seaboard Bedding & Furniture Liquidation is able to bring our customers the lowest prices is because we keep our costs to a minimum. Seaboard Bedding & Furniture Liquidation provides delivery within 15 miles of our physical location which typically covers the greater portion of the Grand Strand. If you are not within 15 miles of our  physical location delivery may still be available, but additional fees may apply. Delivery includes drop off only inside residence, set up is not included but can be accomodated for an additional fee.  Delivery is provided by an outside service therefore payment is due at the time of delivery. Cash is the preferred method of payment for deliveries.  Items must be paid in full before they are shipped, sorry no COD’s.

Set Up:

Setup is available for those who would like their furniture put together for them. If set up is desired, then the "BUYER" must notify us at the time of order that this service will be needed. Setup can be cancelled at the last minute, but setup cannot be added at the last minute: The delivery services used by Seaboard Bedding and Furniture have planned schedules and if time is not allotted for setup it cannot be added on at the last minute. If setup is not desired once the furniture arrives the fee for set up does not have to be paid, only the fee for delivery (see below).

  • Prices are subject to additional fees for 2nd and 3rd story deliveries / delivery and setups.
  • First floor deliveries are considered to be ground floor deliveries any additional floors not disclosed at time of purchase will be assessed additional fees at time of delivery by delivery service!
  • Old mattresses, furniture or upholstry removal is not included in any deliveries.  This type of salvage / trash removal must be handled prior to delivery by the buyer or arranged with delivery service in advance of a scheduled delivery.


Damages:

Damaged pieces will be replaced, but we, "Seaboard Bedding and Furniture" must be notified within 48 hours of the customer receiving their shipment. Replacement pieces will be provided but the below criteria must be met:

  • Digital Pictures must be provided prior to any replacement pieces being shipped.
  • Visible signs of damage to furniture and/or packaging must be noted on packing list and given back to driver.
  • If an item is apparently broken, a customer is expected to refuse the item that is damaged at the time of delivery and note it on the packing list provided by the driver.

Exchange Policy

Seaboard Bedding and Furniture has no exchange policy, All Sales Are Final. We deal with many closeouts and overstock items; therefore once they are gone they are gone and cannot be returned. If something is damaged or broken it is our duty to replace that item at no charge to the customer (See “Damages” above). Seaboard Bedding and Furniture carries a number of different items and HIGHLY SUGGESTS that every customer visit our  location to see and touch many of the items that they are purchasing.


* There is no comfort guarantee on our mattresses; however if there is something structurally defective with the mattress it can and will be replaced at no cost to the customer. Mattresses will not be delivered sight unseen, customers MUST come in to test out which comfort level is best suited for them.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return your furniture to Seaboard Bedding and Furniture Liquidation. However, there is a 20% restocking fee on all items being returned. Damages and defects do not warrant returns, those items will be replaced at no cost to the customer (See “Damages” above).

If a return is in line, the Seaboard Bedding and Furniture must be notified within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. At this point, a date and time must be set up for the return. Customers will be responsible for transporting the furniture to the service-providing location. Pick up can be arranged, however an additional delivery fee must be paid in according to what is being returned (see “Prices” above).


If items are to be returned they must be in new condition and in good order. If items are damaged the cost of damages will be added to the restocking fee of 20%.
